Course Description:

This introductory carbine course focuses on building performance-driven rifle skills for law enforcement patrol applications and self-defense. Students will develop a foundation in carbine handling, emphasizing efficiency, speed, and accuracy under real-world conditions. Core topics include proper weapon setup, stance, recoil control, manipulations (reloads and malfunctions) and target transitions. This class is ideal for patrol officers, responsible citizens, and military personnel looking to move beyond static shooting drills into performance-based rifle work relevant to defensive and operational contexts.

Course Length:

8 hours (1-day course)

Who Should Attend:

-Law enforcement officers (new or in-field)

-Military personnel

-Responsible armed citizens

Minimum Gear Requirements:

- OWB (Outside the waistband) Holster

- Reliable and sturdy EDC (everyday carry) belt

- At least 1 magazine holder for pistol and rifle

- 3 magazines for pistol

- 3 magazines for rifle

- Reliable EDC Pistol

- 100-200 rounds of Pistol ammunition

- 600-700 rounds of Rifle ammunition

- Sturdy sling

- Ear & Eye Protection

- Permanent Marker

- Appropriate Clothing for Range

- Weapons maintenance & cleaning equipment

Refund & Rescheduling Policy

At TAP Solutions, we understand that schedules can change. To ensure fairness and proper class planning, our refund and rescheduling policy is as follows:

Refunds:

  • Full refunds are available up to 30 days prior to the scheduled course date.

  • Requests for refunds must be made in writing via email to mike@tapsolutionsusa.com before the 30-day cutoff.

Rescheduling Credit:

  • No refunds will be issued within 30 days of the class date.

  • However, you will receive full credit toward a future class of equal value.

  • Credits must be used within 6 months of the original class date.

No-Shows:

  • Failure to attend a class without prior notice will result in forfeiture of your payment.
